Why We Invested: Scowtt

Three decades ago the introduction of digital ad-spend ushered in a new era of performance driven marketing. In the intervening years, it has achieved tremendous scale and complexity, maturing into a $600 billion global market. It was a revolution that meant measurement and data led the way for marketing in unprecedented ways. It transformed how marketers allocated dollars, measured results and drove predictable growth. While the transformation was profound, we believe that, with the rise of AI capabilities and the deprecation of cookies, the industry is poised for another massive transformation. We are entering a new era that will be driven by predictive, personalized marketing, utilizing first party data in unprecedented ways for unprecedented results.

Given that seismic shift, we are thrilled to announce that Inspired Capital led Scowtt's $12M Series A, alongside LiveRamp Ventures, Angeles Investors, and Angeles Ventures. Scowtt is building an AI-powered advertising optimization platform that transforms how enterprise advertisers drive performance across all major paid channels.

CEO Eduardo Indacochea brings a rare depth of expertise to this problem. He spent nearly two decades building advertising platforms at Meta, Google, and Microsoft—not theorizing about how advertising should work, but actually building the systems that power the $300 billion performance marketing industry today.

In one of our early conversations, Eduardo shared an insight that stuck with us: the scaled advertising platforms are built for the success of the platform, not the unique, individual success of each customer advertising on that platform. For the past two decades, the industry has operated on cost-per-click models driven by proxy actions and shallow data, optimized on a "look back" basis. Advertisers are forced to conform their data to fit the signals that massive platforms optimize for, not the reverse. While this was a tremendous step forward 20 years ago, these systems are underperforming what's possible today. This is especially true in a post-cookie advertising world where traditional "look-alike" targeting has become far less effective.

The challenge is structural. These platforms must serve millions of advertisers simultaneously, which means they optimize for average performance across their network rather than exceptional performance for any individual customer. For enterprise advertisers spending millions on paid campaigns, this creates a ceiling on what's achievable.

Scowtt takes a different approach. Rather than relying on backward-looking proxy signals, Scowtt uses AI algorithms to analyze customers' first-party CRM data and other proprietary sources to predict which leads will actually convert into valuable customers. The platform then delivers these predictive, real-time signals back to advertising platforms, improving performance without requiring any organizational change or new platform adoption.

What makes this approach work is that it creates a genuine win-win-win. When Scowtt succeeds, their customers get higher quality leads, acquire customers for less, and grow revenue faster. When Scowtt's customers succeed, their advertising spend increases on the major platforms, and those platforms make more money. Some are actively partnering with Scowtt because they see that customers who drive better results can spend more.

The results tell the story. LaserAway achieved a 59% increase in Purchase ROAS after activating Scowtt's predictive models. Advanced Hair Restoration boosted Purchase ROAS by 64%. A leading education advertiser drove 38% ROAS growth by modeling enrollment propensity from CRM lifecycle signals.

The platform works across the entirety of a customer's ad spend on virtually every major advertising platform. Once activated, it operates entirely in the background. No organizational change required, no user adoption hurdles, no new workflows for marketing teams to learn. It enhances what they're already doing while supporting expansion onto new channels and future advertising platforms that don't yet exist.

Scowtt's vision extends beyond advertising optimization. The company is building toward an operating system for growth, a closed-loop system where businesses automate marketing performance using CRM intelligence while also deploying agentic AI to identify and complete sales. Eduardo and his team understand the technical architecture of advertising platforms at a level few others do. They've built these systems, sold them, and understand what will make both advertisers and platforms more successful.

We're excited to partner with Eduardo and the Scowtt team as they build the next generation of advertising technology. The future of performance marketing is predictive, not reactive, and Scowtt is leading the way.
